Your logbook is a record you rely on. We keep the original page next to every row, mark readings that need a closer look, and run automatic checks for gaps, totals, and dates that do not line up. You confirm the book. We make that confirmation easier.
Checks that run on every page
After the rows are read, the Review tab shows a note when something deserves a second look:
Missing date or total
A row is missing a date or a total time.
Times larger than the row
Night, instrument, PIC, or another time on the row is larger than the total.
Page totals
The rows on a page do not add up to the printed page total.
Date order
Dates on a page are out of order.
A repeated flight
The same flight appears more than once.
A long gap
There is a long stretch with no flights.
Each field also shows when the reading was less certain, so you can start with those cells. The notes leave your numbers as you edited them, and you can download whenever you are ready.
The page stays beside the rows
The photo remains with the flights so you can compare them directly. Correct anything that does not match the page, then download a Generic CSV or a ForeFlight import file. Downloading again does not use another page credit. A credit is used only when a page is processed successfully.
You know this book. Before you use the file for a certificate, a job, or an application, confirm the rows against the pages. The checks above are there so you are not starting from a blank table.
Your logbook stays yours
Private by default
We do not sell your information, and we do not share your logbook with advertisers, flight schools, or other pilots. Pages are stored encrypted. Card details stay with the payment processor. The service that reads the handwriting does not keep the photo after the reading finishes, and your pages are not used to train a model.
How long pages stay
Your pages stay in the account so you can reopen them beside the rows. You can delete them at any time. If an account has no activity for 12 months, we email you and then remove the images. A photo you check before you create an account is deleted after 14 days.
Who can see a photo
A person sees a photo only when you ask for advice on the photo or the layout. That look is about the picture, not a review of your flights.
